I worked for Sedutto's Ice Cream back in the late 80's with Frank Castro, I was a refrigeration Mechanic at the time . Those were great memories wish it had never ended.

Just a heads up, my father Ed sr., passed away in 2009. He had built the original A&W restaurant on Hylan blvd back in 1957. The ice cream he had used for the root beer floats? Sedutto's French chocolate & french vanilla. I worked there as a kid and that was THE richest , most dense and BEST ice cream ever created !! It was like trying to dig out cement from the 3 gallon pails !!!! best wishes !

Great walk through Staten Island. Having not grown up here, I don't know much about its history. Love it!

Hello everyone, after proudly serving Sedutto ice cream to hundreds of thousands of customers at my old Sedutto Store on Manhattan upper east side at First Avenue and 78 Street for 16 years, I took a long break. I decided to get back into ice cream and opened a new Sedutto store in Scarsdale. My grand opening was just yesterday on March 27, 2009 and it was so fantastic, seeing so many of my previous cumstomers who had moved to Westchester. Thank you Sedutto.

My children were raised on Sedutto's Ice Cream. No party was complete without an ice cream cake and dixie cups. On holidays everyone looked forward to the chocolate covered tartufo and the holly decorated coconut balls. This year however, we went to the New Dorp Lane store that always carried them and they were closed . . .what a disappointment. Fond memories of yesteryear and the old Staten Island are not complete without Seduttos!!!
